Vuzix iWear: Wrap 920

This has just arrived today. Quality of the picture is great. The viewing size doesn't seem as large as you would expect; however, it's good quality and the audio from the supplied earphones is LOUD!

Connects directly to my iPod (perfect picture and sound) and I have also had it hooked up to my PS3 (bit of a buzzing noise as I think my PS3 is outputting the audio at too high a level).

Anaglyphic 3D conversion is very good once I figured out I needed to switch it to 'cross-eyed' mode (test video was from the 3D extras on the Monsters vs Aliens Blu-Ray). I need to find some 'side-by-side' 3D' video to test that option.

The one disappointing note is that there seems to be a dead pixel in the left-hand screen and I may have to return them for another set but I'm sure this won't cause an issue.

All in all, it is a lot of money but the product is definitely worth it.

Had pondered wether to buy these or not, read reviews and wondered who was telling the truth or who was being an over the top fusspot. But i got them and they are fantastic. Best used lying in bed, lights out. It truly gives the effect of a big screen. Half expecting to see heads bobbing in front of me like when you're at the cinema. Great quality picture when plugged directly into a ps3, dvd player or a well copied film onto my iphone or ipod. If the film wasn't so well copied it shows up on the glasses (to be expected) but still more than bareable. Tried playing MW2 using PS3. Strained the eyes to see, but was having one of my good spells playing, but so tensed up and focused, after 4 games i had to turn off as was getting sick feelings, so wouldn't do that again. Too intense!! But for the scenario when all tv's are being used and you find yourself being lost without your toys, this is the answer.In my view if you're not happy with the picture, your expectations were far, far too high, should stick to that 50" tv in your lounge. Sturdy, excellent sound, great picture, easy setup, all cables you need, would definatley recommend. One and only thing being that it eats batteries up like crazy, might want to buy bulk from cheap source or use re-chargeable.

does is work with the new 3D games from sony? like wipeout HD, "Playable in amazing stereoscopic 3D"?
