If you've tightened up the battery cover and then it stops working, or slightly slower motor speed, read on... There's a minor fault with the battery cover which pushes the batteries away from the contacts.
All you need to do is cut away the clear plastic lumps/nipples next to each contact. Then the batteries are snug against the contacts and all is fine.
bought 2 of these for the kids to play with and 1 of them is really good, good range & works consistently ,the other is not so good only shoots about 6 feet maximum and stops working all the time meaning we have to remove batteries and reinstall them to get ot working again sometimes takes a few taps on the battery compartment to get things moving again.
A bit dissapointed that both do not work to the same degreee but my son especially loves them when they do work although he always wants the one with better range. A good buy but be aware that you may get a good one or a bad one.
as far as waterpistols go this is a great gun, however i was dissapointed mine came blue not orange and the mag isnt clear. its also a shame they couldnt supply a second mag n batteries, having that would really make it worth the price, that aside its still makes it worthwhile annoying the dog xP n so thats reason it gets 4*
Very well made water gun, magazine fits well with no leaks,
batteries last very well, very accurate and a good rate of fire,
range is not up to super soaker standards but still is very fun to use, my 9 year old son loves it. Good fun for grown ups to, just right for keeping those cats off your lawn!
