A great gift for people who travel a lot, and it comes nicely packaged
Does anyone know the dimensions of the tube?? The person I want to buy this for would be putting it in their suitcase and I need to make sure its not too big!

what size is the map?
This is an amazing gift. I have purchased 4 so far and will certainly buy more. A perfect gift for those who love to travel. From little children who have been abroad, to adults who have travelled to many places.
The map (when scratched) reveals multi-colours for each different part of the world. It also has a neat outline of states and provinces, therefore if you want to be extremely selective in scratching (e.g. just scratch a small part of Brazil, like Rio de Janiero, instead of the whole thing - you can do so). The map, when opened, looks slick and shiny (and has a very 'new' smell). The outer packaging is a tube which is most likely a fraction larger than the map itself. Just a standard poster tube size - but the design on it is amazing .. which makes this fun map one of the greatest, cost effective products that every traveller SHOULD have.
