Remote Control Helicopter: Gyro Apache

I'd been thinking about getting one of these indoor RC helicopters for some time, and finally took the plunge after finding myself with a bit of spare cash.

Quite simply, it's the best thing I've bought in a long, long time!

It takes a little while to get used to flying it, but that time should be shortened considerably if you're used to playing videogames - controlling an object in 3D space with 2 joysticks will already be second nature to you, and it's just like adapting to the controls of a new game.

In flight, the helicopter is stable, responsive, and an absolute joy to control. Not only does it have an LED light in the nose, but also 4 LEDs along the underside of the tail... not exactly realistic for an Apache, but it looks great when flying in low light.

It's so much fun that I'm considering buying one or two more (other models, obviously) so that I have something to fly while the others recharge.

Got mine today and it's much better than I expected. Worth every penny. It really is that good. Just don't use it at night when peeps are in bed trying to get some sleep because it does make quite a bit of noise! My Labrador didn't know what to do when this bad boy came flying round the corner with the lights on! What are you still reading this for? Go get one tiger!!!!

Absolutely stylish and looks great! It is pretty easy to fly, being a first timer it took a few attempts, but really cannot complain as I got used to it quickly! Good buy!

This is the second R/C helicopter I've bought, and it by far the best. It took about 5 minutes to learn how to fly, and I just can't stop. Charge time is about 30 minutes from the USB charger, and I can probably get a good 5-6 minutes flight time. My father in law is addicted now, so we'll have to get another! Three channels will allow another one to be added, once I can convince my wife that she needs one in her life too!

I bought this as a present and do not want to give it away. I took it out of the box to check everything was working and was amazed at how easy it was to fly. I have some experience of other RC helicopters but this thing is a completely different experience. Highly stable and controllable. I would recommend this produce even if it was twice the price.
