AirSwimmers / Remote Controlled Shark

I nearly died when I saw this .... All my dreams come true.... Ahhh but then read description.... A remote controlled " balloon" how disappointing and for 40 quid then you have to take it to the florist to be pumped up..... Hhmmm excuse me love can you inflate my large flying great White shark please" .....

This is such good fun! Getting the thing inflated was a mild annoyance- but once that was done it is fantastic! The shark moves in such a lifelike manner that it's really quite amazing -it's really lifelike! It took me about 15 minutes to put it together - make sure that you put both the sticky pads and the transparent stickers around the plastic parts you have to stick to the balloon. The first time I stuck them on I forgot -it needs the other pads to keep it all together.
Overall i'm really pleased with the purchase. It's really easy to control and is surprisingly manoeuvrable -and the look on people's faces when they see it is priceless!
Just try and stop yourself singing "Dur duh -Dur duh" when using it!

This is the only thing my husband wanted for Christmas, and luckily I managed to get it from Play.com for 22GBP in a 24 hour sale back in November :) he loves it. It was quite fiddly to put together (you need to inflate the shark first so it helps to have one person holding the shark and another attaching the bits and bobs to it) but it works well and looks brilliant floating around our living room. It was much bigger than we expected, but it didn't take very long to fill (you can buy tanks of helium in most supermarkets). I don't think I'd have spent 40GBP on it, but for 22GBP it was a bargain
