  Great Item, Great Price!

Collecting lots of props/busts/replicas - this is far by the best value for money I have seen in a long time. When most busts start at a 100/200 quid - you are getting a life size, painted gremlin, with a stand. Great show piece, takes pride and joy among my other gremlins.

The paintwork is great, the box was slightly damaged but the gremlin was still in perfect shape. You could even go as far to mounting this guy on the wall if you wanted to!

If you are a big fan of the gremlins, then you will not be disappointed. Remember this is a limited run of 1000, so get it whilst you can!

Only Cons: He has NO articulation. I must stress this - he does not move! You cannot pose him.

  Awesome addition to the family!

He arrived a week ago and I'm really impressed. There is the small cracking and slight wear and tear from shipping others have mentioned , but AT THIS PRICE, you can't go wrong. Always wanted a full sized Gremlin and couldnt be happier, he's really creepy and lurks on his stand with confident menace! To be honest I've thrown a pair of sunnies on him as at night those orange eyes really shine through in a one bedroom flat! Overall really great piece!

Really impressed when taken out of the box although a window box would have been nicer but as i tend to throw these away (even the ltd edition ones) it's not too much of a concern for me. Agree that although mine has no flaws, it does look like it might not respond well to too much handling or manipulation (be careful when mounting on the stand too) Would have liked a bit more posability but guess that would bump up the price. It's been good scaring guests but keep out of reach of dogs. GREAT BUY

For the price you can't go wrong?

Well its huge , the packaging would have be nicer if it was properly done and not just a brown box - saying that for the price its fantastic. You have a rare life size collectors piece that looks amazing. Downfall is you can pose the item at all so he does look pretty stiff. The seals that hold the head , arms and legs to the middle body seem to either spit or will split during time of handling so really becareful - this is defo not a toy to play around with . Keep the box even just flat pack it but look after this baby cause its very limited run . I for one love it , and again the price is amazing for its size but you need to really look after him .

I give it 4 stars , only less one star due to the box and stiffness.

  Honest truth the gremlin puppet

I waited for this for ages and was over the moon when it came and I still am I have it mounted on the wall using the stand provided it looks fantastic with real detail. My only gripe is close up I noticed the joint near one of his legs was slightly coming away I think abit more care could have been taken they and there was abit on the end of his ear where the paint had rubbed of whilst in the box . But despite these things as said it looks great and if I had the choice again I would still have bought it.

Good but with some easily avoided flaws

I did have a long, detailed review written out for this, but it seems that it was so long the system timed out while i was writing it.

So, in summary, while this is probably a five star item for many casual fans, there are a number of flaws that Neca could easily have avoided such as making the gremlin completely immovable (arms are pointing straight down and cannot be moved at all), the face seems to have a bottom jaw that is too long for the face, and that leads into the fact the gremlin has a bit of a backward lean meaning that it always faces slightly skyward when on its stand.
The finishing on some of the edges is a bit rough, there are a few gaps between the join of the arms and torso, and although the material is stiff and tough, it could probably easily tear if caught by the stand which houses it.
All in all, perhaps i have just been spoiled by collecting some of the best replicas by individuals who have made an effort to create something longtime gremlin fans will appreciate, but for me this is definitely a long way short of being a perfect replica, although it still makes a good talking point and certainly attracts attention due to its size.

  fantastic prop replica

our prop arrived from play.com today after too many delays but it was well worth the wait.
well on to the actual prop review its bigger than you think it's advertised at nearly 30 inches tall which it is and dominates the whole area it measures from the base of the stand to the top spike on the head brow at 850mm so over 33 inches including base which i must mention has a handy wall mounting bracket integrated into the floor stand so it can be easily wall mounted
the seams are well trimmed on the prop and the overall build quality is fantastic as is the first rate paint job and limited to only 1000 worldwide which is weird for such an iconic cult film with so many collectors worldwide
we preordered ages ago and im suprised there are any left on sale at the time of this review
