Valve Portal Prop Replica Gun - Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device -P-Body Co-Op Version

I must stress that this is only a replica. How ever if you wish to try an actual fully functioning portal device then we are currently looking for test subjects.

As soon as I had ordered this I had 2nd thoughts but now that I have it I am glad I didn't cancel.

First off, these things are NOT 30" long, its more like 20". The box is about 30" long.

Its not a toy, it feels like it would break in the wrong hands, there are certainly weak points around the the pipes and the (for want of a better word) prongs on the front.

It will take up a fair bit of space if you decide to put it on show and you would need the official stand to make it look its best.

There is another version out soon that has blue stripes, so take your pick on colours.

This may seem an expensive item, but what it is, is well worth the price. The replica is well built, the LEDs are bright and the sound (when fired) is clear. This is a brilliant item for any portal fan and is defiantly worth getting if your a fan of the 'bots- especially P-Body :)

So it turns out, the science got done, so they made a neat gun for the people who are still alive! I Received my portal gun today, and it's totally the most awesome geek item I own! The gun itself is very sturdy, which is perfect for all the testing you're going to be going through!

The noises and lights are spot on, although I do think there was a slight design flaw. When flicking the switch to go from the red portal to the orange portal, it has to travel through the off position. Meaning it flashes off and on if you don't flick it quick enough.

Also a little bit gutted that there was no sarcastic note from GLaDOS about how much weight I've put on, and no certificate of authenticity etc.

All that aside, this is a neat gun! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to do some science!

I'm a huge portal fan and was not disappointed when my portal gun arrived. Feels and looks great, I prefer this to the plain white one as it doesn't look as dull. Great product would definitely recommend, well done NECA!
