Name a Rose Gift Box

For me, no roses grew, I waited ages and couple of little shoots did form but after a few weeks I realised they must have been weeds. The box makes a good tin and the novelty factor was quite nice but really it was a let down.

I have bought this for my mother in-law for mothers day as she lost her dad last year. I have registered it for her a named it after something that ment a lot to her and her dad. My father in-law is a keen gardener so planting the rose seeds and watching them grow will be something that they can both do together. Its such a beautiful idea and I know she will love it. I registered the name on line and the certificate came within 2 weeks. I was surprised at how beautiful the certificate was when it came I went straight out to buy a nice frame to put it in as an extra bit of something. I now can't wait for mothers day to get here to give it her.

I bought this christmas for my nan as she is a very awkward person to buy for! She loved it more than anything, I helped her register her named rose on the internet and she will be planting them this year. She thought it was a great idea and she named them after something that means a lot to her. I would recommend this gift to anyone who has a love for gardening and flowers :) x

Incredibly difficult to grow. Apparently it is common to lose 50%+ seedlings according to the Rose Society. You do not actually get to name a rose, indeed the British Library has a disclaimer on its own web site. The cost to properly name a rose is in the 000's.
Having said that if you are successful and are happy with them in your garden then that may be enough.

I bought this for my grandma who is currently in hospital after having one ofher breasts removed due to breast cancer. She was feeling really down, so i started looking for the perfect gift to cheer her up, and this is it.

I gave this to her on the ward, and when she saw what it was her eyes lit up. within minutes she was showing all of the other women onthe ward, and even all the nurses were shown!
