After a 7 odd month wait, I've finally got my hands on a Masterpiece Megatron! And Lordy what a pile of old tosh it is too! After spending £100 on it, you'd think Takara-Tomy would have designed/made at least a half decent figure! Instead, we are treated to a piece with surprisingly little die cast parts, flimsy, plastic limbs which come away from thier ball-joint sockets faaar too easily and generally, a very lame looking figure indeed! Next to the chunky and substantial Prime, this looks positively weak. It's a pain to transform, with you fearing more about breaking it than anything else! Utter crap. For die-hard collectors of the Masterpiece series only! If you're a Completist, then it's a must, regardless of the shoddy nature of the fig. And it's true, he barely stands straight, his arm cannon feels (and looks) just a tad too big and greatly hinders his poseability as well as his ability to stand. The remaining 'classic' gun attachments are due soon so I imagine, with all parts assembled [in gun mode], he'll look pretty good. Robot mode suks a$s though!
