Star Wars: Yoda FX Lightsaber

If your into collecting these sabers then the Yoda blade is worth adding to the collection. you can expect the same build quality in this blade as you would find in the others in the series. NOTE: The LightSaber is Shorter than other models, but overall its quality. worth keeping an eye out for the others in the series as play like to offer the FX LightSabers at a Redused price every now and then.

It seems that other reviews of the other sabers all seem to show that they have different sounds even though its the same blade, this is probly because though the blades are the same the removable unit that does the sounds and motions are different and it seems that its luck of the draw if you get a good one. but at the end of the day its a Lightsaber with Dam good effects

I got this for christmas was and when you flick the switch to turn it on you turn into a jedi! This is my first lightsaber and was on the top of my wishlist. Looking at the others the yoda is best for me since the red ( darth maul and vader) Sabers seem to have a weaker glow and are a little 2 big 4 me!
If you're reading this review which you are buy this lightsaber and start feeling the force! My mum was even playing with it in work when it arrived!

The yoda lightsaber is easy to work and gives out a great green glow. Although its not a toy, how can you resist doing a few fancy moves with it! And if you're mum and dad are saying ' You're too old to have a lightsaber ' forgot it and put it at the top of you're wishlist.
If you are looking to buy one of these please don't give it to little children! The polycarbonate blade can withstand substancial blows but its not a real lightsaber and it certainly can't slice things up like in the darth vader mcdonalds advert.

I have 4 diffrent Masters FX lightsabers (Vader, Luke. Anakin & Yoda) and this is the best one.

It's not that the others are bad (and they are not!) . It's just that this one is shorter and easier to handle and it has the brightest glow even during the day.

If I had to pick just one this is the one.

Only problem is the on/off switch is a bit awkward. But this is my joint favorite so far along side Darth Maul's double saber. My kids look great with this when they can get it off me that is. It is nice to hold with no shrap bits digging in your hands when spinning (unlike Vader's and Anakins) and it is louder and brighter than the others . Excellent! I ordered two sabers Monday at 6PM and got them Wednesday morning so 5 stars for play on these products as well.

Firstly many thanks Play.com for super fast delivery i ordered this on sunday night it arrived tuesday morning!!
The saber itself is very well made it is smaller than other fx sabers (About 3-4 inches smaller in blade and handle length and about an inch or 2 in diameter) But obviously thats because Yodas small. The blade is very sturdy and glows very brightly, the sound fx are much improved, (louder than my other sabers) The handle is very easy to hold, the power switch is located in an easy accessible area which allows easy 'power up' when holding it. One of the best sabers made to date and perfect for kids due to its smaller size my 8 year old nephew loves it. In conclusion a truly great piece and a must have for any collector or fan. Thanks again play !!!
