I've quite a few of these sabers, (the cost of batteries for all of them!!!) and this one has to be one of the best. The hilt is simple, small but perfectly formed. More importantly, it's accurate.
The blade though is really dazzling. Why does it seem brighter? I'd have to say that it's not only because the blade is shorter, but also because it has a smaller diameter. That would mean the light is concentrated. Whatever the reason, it's superb.
The sounds, as usual, are excellent. All told, this is a perfect addition to any SW collection, even better if you've less room.
On a price note, I bought mine through playtrade for 26GBP. It is new and has no faults at all. Even the box was fine, in spite of the description saying it wasn't perfect.
However you buy this item, you won't regret it.

I bought this one after the Skywalker, and again, no regrets. The quality of the handle is really good as for the blade which seem slightly better than the longer one as the light seem more dense(led nearer from each other?). A lot lighter it is indeed harder to get impact noise but this is negligeable against for this as my wife would put it "cuter" lightsaber.
The Force is strong with this one....

This lightsaber is different in many ways to the other fx lightsabers on the market. Whilst it lacks the size of Vader's or Luke's, it is far easy practice your saber skills with as the blade is shorter and whole saber is lighter.......so light bulbs and ornaments will certainly last longer.
The lighting and sound effects are somewhat better than the other fx sabers. Although other reviewers are correct about the blade clash effects - you do have to hit this one that bit harder to get the sound. This is probably due to the fact that this doesn't have the added weight behind it.
Play are offering this saber for £35. This is an absolute bargain. Whilst you not want to invest the same amount of money into this one as the others - it is a true bargain and certainly worth adding to your collection!
