After having read the first review I was hoping for a lot more than it actually is. The Tarantula is too big to be believable (although it is the actual size of a Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula) and too noisy to scare anyone.

The description also says "moves forwards, backwards, left and right as well as spinning on its eight furry, independently moving legs" Not true! It moves about on wheels in it's base.

It is still fun to play with though.

crazy spider - lots of fun to be had

why people have got a problem with this spider i do not know. for the price you pay you can not expect a full walking spider. It is a toy aimed for having fun. my little 1yrs old was scared at 1st but now he thinks its funny when i chase him with it, yes it does make a noise when moving but then it does have motors inside of it. come on people be serious its a toy not a real thing.

it has a nice furry coat on which my kid loves to touch. you can make people jump with it you just have to be cleaver about it.. 1st hide it then use small movements to creep from under your sofa is best.

the legs movement is ace. it does make you look at it a second time sometimes when it is just sat on teh floor late at night..

a lot of fun to be had dont let other comments put you off

Walks and scares just like the real thing!

Amazingly and horribly lifelike. According to the box it replicates the actual size of the Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula. Quality is really very good but the best bit is the way it walks. Very, very very real.

 Dont buy it!!
