The moment I heard about these I wanted one !!
but the price always kept me away, dont get me wrong I love star wars but as a collector couldnt justify paying £120+ for one when I always had other things I wanted.
Just happened to Google lightsabers one day last week and imagine my suprise when I saw they where selling on Play.com for only £35. Hmm I thought am I dreaming ? is this real ? so decided to buy one, just to see if it would turn up ! Sure enough two days later the delivery man comes with my new saber. Yes mine too only came wrapped in a black bag, but to be fair the postage is free ! and the master replicas box is pretty heavy duty so would take a few blows in its stride. Opened the box carefuly and removed the lightsaber, taking 5 minutes to take in its beauty..the all melt hilt looks great just like in the movies.

Firing the saber up for the first time is breath-taking then holding it rocking it gently to make the typical lightsaber hums... whoo yaa !!! cannot recommend one of these enough if you are a fan of the movies then you should already have one? but if not at this price GET ONE !! They are well worth it. You will easily be the envy of all your friends. My only comment would be watch out you carnt stop at one you need two minimum !! so you too can duel with mates.
I have heard a few people talk about dark spots, low noise volume, creaks in the blade and rattling coming from the hilt? I am pleased to say mine has none of these flaws!!
but have heard putting in good batteries solves the dark spot problem and little usage gets rid of the creaking of the blade...?! but I guess its probably down to individual sabers having unique trates? Either way a super toy/display item that deserves being in your collection...Just try and sleep with one of these in the house when you could be outside practising your moves !!
