this is an awesome bit of kit - you just have to turn it on in a dark room - and you know that this is 35 quid well spent . I still giggle like a loon when i turn it on , and me and my girlfriend have had many saber fights with this and the luke version .
If you are even a passing star wars fan you will go absolutely nuts for this !!!!!!!!!! And i defy any star wars fan not to admit that they have always wanted a proper lightsaber - well this is the closest youll get . Believe all the reviews on here - you need this in your life .

I ordered all three lightsabers from Play and they all landed on my doorstep within 2 days of ordering.
This Darth Vader replica is really heavy, the build quality is so very good. It is hard not to giggle as you swing it about in a darkened room.

Well what can I say, except this is brilliant!
Bought this one and the Luke Skywalker one, and within minutes of getting them out of the box, my 10 year old daughter and I were reinacting the final scene from Empire! (Well not quite, we were just banging them together to be honest!!!)
The build quality is really good, nice and heavy. The other comments are correct regarding the Luke one creaking a bit, but nothing major.
I ordered these on Tuesday morning, and they arrived Thursday afternoon, great service, well done Play.com
