I had this delivered last week, and i have'nt stopped smiling since. All i have done is play with it. My partner decribes it as a kid at Christmas ..........i'm 25 lol a must for a star wars fan or even just for someone who loves cool gadgets like me.

This is my second lightsaber having already bought lukes from play.com, these are just too cool... every one you show this to will want one !!! the dark side becons ...join the sith and rule over all with this great adult display peice. craftmanship is all there with an all metal hilt...plus these sabers can be converted to a luxeon bulb which is basically a stronger light tube with a bulb modified in the hilt !! this equalls a lightsaber with a removal blade which it doesnt do from standard ! and a stronger blade for dueling as the original ones can be damaged by a too hard beating !! (so watch out)-all in all well worth the 35 pound price tag !! dont think about it just get one they may not be around to much longer !!! 5/5 darth bra-

Bought this sabre (my first one) when I saw the price...what a bargin!!!! I will be buying Luke's sabre next, the quality is great and delivery was prompt A+.

Just got this light saber today, this is my fouth fx saber and think they are all great. Only problem is the packaging on Plays part, came with a pretty big whole in the box so just beware if your an avid collector.

The force is strong with this one! I bought this last week with super-fast delivery. This feels really nice to handle and makes a lovely sound. The only note of caution is that you need to take care when peeling of the stickers. FX in their wisdom have decided to attach really sticky stickers to the lovely chrome. It took me 15 mins(+elbow grease) to remove it.

The saber also comes with a nifty stand to display this cool piece of kit.

All in all, this is a really nice piece of kit and highly recommended for all.

I've never bought a lightsaber before, but is the price really only £34.99? if so i'm buying this...please get back to me soon :)

Just to answer the previous reviewer's complaint about the rattling noise, there's nothing wrong with your lightsaber, that noise is the ball bearings that tell the motion sensor when the lightsaber is being moved, so there's nothing you can do about it really as they're an essential component in controlling the sound output. Have noticed the creaking sound too, but I think that is also incurable and just something we have to put up with. Still a great gadget though. Hope I've set your mind at rest about the ball bearings. May the force be with you. ;)

i love the lightsaber dont get me wrong but when i spin it at all there is a very noticeable creak which annoys me quite alot there is also a rattling noice from inside the hilt and i dont have the confidence in my diy to dive in and find out whats up with it.

i brought this lightsaber 2 days ago and i came today i an very happy with i love all the sabers i think there are realy cool

My sister bought be one of these for my birthday. I have to say I'm really impressed. It looks really good, and when in the dark it really looks like you're holding a lightsabre. I'm very pleased with it. The sounds are fantastic and it really makes you feel as though you're in the part.
