The Plasma Rifle is widely used by the Covenant troops in the Halo games, but it's mainly brandedished by Elites. It fires blue-white plasma at high velocity and can be fired automatically but is prone to overheating. It's limited by a fail safe system that kicks in when the temperature reaches a certain level.

I got four of these bad boys and I would be lying to you if I said it was a waste of my money or time. At last me and my buddies are able to recreate classic scenes from the game - we had the helmet but were just waiting for the weapons lol. The quality of the plastic is second to none, apart from the energy sword which hasn't even been released yet! When this baby starts getting hot the flanges will open up meaning that you must wait before you are able to shoot again. Classic stuff!!

every halo fan should own 1 of these purely for the coolness factor, the product quailty is excellent it looks,feels and sounds like the real thing in the game. The only problem i can find with this product is the target system which is a bit low quaility (there's no function to party up weapons so if ur playing a team game u can end up killing ur own teammates by mistake and u dont need to be anywhere near them) however as a collectors piece i cant fault it and at the current price its a bargain....enjoy!!
