I got four of these bad boys and I would be lying to you if I said it was a waste of my money or time. At last me and my buddies are able to recreate classic scenes from the game - we had the helmet but were just waiting for the weapons lol. The quality of the plastic is second to none, apart from the energy sword which hasn't even been released yet! When this baby starts getting hot the flanges will open up meaning that you must wait before you are able to shoot again. Classic stuff!!

I received two of these weapons today (only after 2 days of ordering, so thanks play!) and I can only say that I am absolutely blown away buy their quality!

The 'toy' (I'd prefer to term it a replica) is a perfect life size representation of the Plasma Rifle used by Covenant forces in the Halo video game series. Although the picture included on this page is in fact an earlier design, the actual product reflects the blue Halo 3 design. The playability of the replica is also superb - The rifle is weighted to a similar style to the game, and also recoils with each shot. There is even a realistic overheat function, where after 20 shots of cointuous rapid fire, the side filanges pop out, and the user must wait 4 seconds before continuing to fire - just like the game!

I cannot properly convey how pleased I am with this product. It is simply a must buy for any respectable halo fan, and I am now looking forward to the release of the plasma pistol and energy sword even more, if they are going to be as much fun and of the same oustandingly stunning quality. 5 out of 5!

every halo fan should own 1 of these purely for the coolness factor, the product quailty is excellent it looks,feels and sounds like the real thing in the game. The only problem i can find with this product is the target system which is a bit low quaility (there's no function to party up weapons so if ur playing a team game u can end up killing ur own teammates by mistake and u dont need to be anywhere near them) however as a collectors piece i cant fault it and at the current price its a bargain....enjoy!!

this product is very like the real gun on the game but just without the lazers shooting out of it. all halo fans should buy this product. (there is also available now or later a plasma hand gun sort of thing)
