Pyramat S2000 Sound Rocker Chair

Overall I'm very happy with this chair - Its comfortable, easy to store away ( if you don't have a lads pad this is important) and has a cool mp3/input function which you can listen to your own tunes through the seat speaks whist still having your game audio going. Speakers are clear and the sub is punchy - playing a FPS will give your kidneys a good working over.

The only -ve is that i cant see an easy way to get this all to work with a 5:1 surround sound kit as the speakers are behind your head and therefore distort any rear surround sound speakers. Its almost better to have the speakers down low but the sub set high so you can feel the base.

This has been an advantage for epic game, as the seat is very comfortable, racing game and FPS because of the wicked base.

If you have the cash to splash pick one!

me and my sister were given a chair each for christmas and imidiately tried it on the 360, ps3, wii, ds, psp and ipods. it was really easy to use but it is not completely wireless. the consoles are attached to a little wireless router that comes with the chair. the chair then picks up this signal. the only problem is that there is nowhere to plug in batteries and the chair needs to be attached to the mains.

apart from that this is a really great chair and makes the gaming experience seem much more realistic whether it be driving or shooting. i can not see why it is the twice the price of its little brother and if i was choosing i would of bought the other one and used the £50 on something else.

Truely assome + i got cheaper cause they sell them where i work! a must for any gamer who has a back problem the bass blows it out of u!

I have had mine for a few months now. I brought it especially for my Xbox 360. I heard that it was a good gadget and that it was good for the price you pay. So i got my cash out and brought one. I tryed the wireless function but i had too much interference even with the three channels you can select. So instead i chose to use the wires that you get with it. This makes the sound perfect but due to tripping over the wires i broke the ends that connect the console to the chair. This was easy to fix with the brilliant SUPERGLUE!!! So if you do use the wires i would suggest moving then so you don't break them. I also agree with the fellow reviewer that the wood frame does sink in because mine has started to. But overall i think its a brilliant device that you must get. I think it makes a difference to the sound effect on you gameplay and even just listening to music.

I gotta be honest ive had it for 3 months and its a great buy especially since the RRP. is £150, but i dont know why but the wireless signal seems to wear out after time even with new batteries and it sounds really bad, so if you want it to last long and make it worth the purchase then you had to be able to cope with wires as you get a set of wires to use just incase the wireless transmittor dies and now i am using the wires but i tuck them away so it doesnt make it look like clutter as they are quite long, but what i mentioned is the truth but it is very comfy so its up to you the buyer and i hope my review has helped.
