We bought this for my mother and she loved it. What I think some people are missing is that you can ASK FOR MORE FOOD. They'll keep bringing it out if you ask for it. They'll even give you a doggy bag to take home anything they brought you but didn't eat.

  Amazing!!!

I loved this as we sat out on the terrace and the the view was splendid!
The sandwiches tea and cakes are scrumptious and are in unlimited supply, you simply have to ask for more, although you don't need to as they are quite filling. The experience is amazing and a spot of shopoing is simply a must. Great for treating your wife, auntie, mother in law anyone!!

  Major Disapointment

I bought this gift for my mother and her partner and they just cashed it in the other day. They only had 3 sandwiches each barely enough to feed my hamster let alone my mum & her partner. The service at Harrods was extremely poor with none of the staff speaking fluent english.Overall i am hugely let down i work hard for my money and felt this was a poor exprience.I would advise others to avoid as for the money you could go to Harrods and buy a lunch cheaper than this costs.

Afternoon tea at harrods conjours up an image of posh surroundings and waiters who greet you with "madam" and "sir" - and this is how it is. The restaurant is grand with a lovely decour.

Now to the 'tea'...... The sandwiches and cakes were nice but i expected more, no doubt that makes me sound greedy but for the price, i did expect more.

The sandwiches consists of 5 small triangle sandiches with various fillings, two scones (which were lovely), clotted cream and jam and for small cakes (raspberry eclair, walnut cake, chocolate sponge and a fruit tart). Filling though they were, i did wonder if the sandwiches and cakes would be topped up, but alas they weren't.

The tea was nothing special, i have drank a more refreshing cuppa of pg tips! However, the experience itself in harrods is something to try.

It was a nice experience and i would recommend it, but expected more for the price.
