As other reviewers have said the packaging used for these collectables is not the best and the items can end up damaged, so we are taking a gamble when we order!!
Thankfully my gamble paid of as i had ordered 2 of these just in case one happened to be damaged and to my joy they both arrived in mint condition!!!
Even more of a bonus was the price which was just £1.99 each! A brilliant collectable that will perhaps be worth a small fortune sometime in the future!!
Nice one Play you came through with this one!!
Should hve bought it before!

I got this when it was £1.99. I guess that shipment dried up! It's a fantastic set to have, especially with the limited edition badge.
Great exclusive at a price that won't make you ralph ;)

I'm not a massive Star Wars fan. But I like exclusive stuff.
I had already bought the McQuarrie Chewbacca (Best face ever)
So £1.99 for this was an offer too good to miss. It even arrived
in a plastic "Celebration Europe" box, over the original card back.
Which is good news for MIB fans.
Bargain at £1.99

I collect toys, so when I saw these with £13 off I couldn't say no.
There's no way on earth I'd ever pay £14.99 for them, I'd say in the shops around £4.99 would have been fair. I guess the price has been hiked up because they're an anniversary toy.
A nice little investment or gift for a Star Wats fan - you cannot go wrong at this price!
Mine arrived in a Jiffy bag, but like most reviewers it arrived in one piece - the additional outer pacaging is pretty sturdy, which saved it from damage.
a good little buy

I bought these when they were £1.99 basically because I don't like letting a bargain pass. Unlike others mine was sent in a bubble envelope and arrived in great condition.
R2-D2 is about an inch and a half and C3PO about 2-3". Both with posable parts I think, I'm not taking them out of the box. The box is clear plastic so you can see everything anyway and it is one of them cases you just pull to open (not the dreaded chainsaw required ones) celotaped around the edges. Collector's coin looks like it should be eddible.
I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan in the world but I do have the films and I think these are a great little set, well put togther and nicely packaged to put away with the need to take them out to see what they look like as you do.
Another bargain from Play. I am sure a collector would like these even more.
oh my god i can't belive how cheap they are!!!

having just done a search for star wars gadgets,i couldn't believe how cheap play were selling these figures.
i bought these figures myself off play.com a few months back and the figures arrived to me in perfect condition.
considering that forbidden planet and toys r us are selling these figures for a lot more than play.com i am more than delighted to have picked up a bargain.
excellent....
Packaging Improved?

Having read the reviews regarding the condition of the packaging on arrival I wasn't sure whether to order these or not.
I decided to gamble as the price is pretty good, considering how much these were priced at the CE show itself.
Happy to report mine turned up this morning, although sent in a jiffy bag, it was packaged in a plastic case (which has Star Wars logos and CE sticker on it) so the item itself is in very good condition.
Best price I've seen anywhere for these figures. However, I

have to agree with the earlier post regarding the packaging used for despatch. These are collector exclusives so packing them into flexible Jiffy bags seems unwise. Mine also arrived a little crushed diminshing it's collectability. In response to the reviewer who expressed dissapointment at the likeness of the characters in relation to how they appear in the film, these figures are based on concept illustrations and not the final designs that were used for Star Wars. As such, for the fans out there this is a fascinating item at an unbeatable price.
Figures are great - Shipping is POOR

These are great figures at a great price. Collectors beware though. PLAY insist on sending all their Star Wars figures out in jiffy bags. I have made 3 orders, including these figures... all have arrived with dents and creases in the packets.
