Description

Indiana Jones, notable for his trademark bullwhip, fedora, leather jacket and being played by the exceptional Harrison Ford, was first introduced in the 1981 film Raiders of the Lost Ark, set in 1936.

Portrayed as an adventurous throwback to the 1930s film serial treasure hunters, with an alter ego of Professor Jones, he is pitted against the Nazis, traveling the world to prevent them from recovering the Ark of the Covenant.

With the imminent release of Indy IV: 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' in 2008 Indy is making a welcome comeback.

I'm not really seeing the point of this figure. It's identical to the two pack (with Cairo thug) version only without the weathering. Sure, you get the massively oversized headpiece of Ra, but that's a pretty crappy relic if you ask me. The delux version also has a scimitar and monkey, coupled with the aforementioned Cairo thug for only two quid more!
As for the figure - she's actually pretty good. The sculpt and paints are nice but no knee articulation again! There's no excuse for this, just Hasbro cost cutting. Suffice to say this figure won't be hiding in any little wicker baskets. Would get five stars if it was properly articulated, but as is, and with the two pack version also available, she only gets three.
And that's generous.
