i recently bought this item as a bar light for my games room and as expected it is very cool however the battery compartment is on the back so if you wall mount you will have to unscrew to renew batteries not the best design choice also no mains power which is sad but still worth the money any way im outatime

I'm a little bitter as I paid nearly $320 (£165) for mine as I ordered it from a `certain film` fan site. The products OK, but the lighting below the three prongs consists of only 3 LED's per prong which flash in sequence, I'd have thought 6 or 8 LED's would have given a better effect. I guess I'm just a little jaded having seen the excellent hand crafted ones people have built for their DeLoreans at various car shows. A 12V DC input would be useful too !

Sadly mine was broken on arrrival a few weeks ago, but a replacement is here now. I'm satisffied, but I suspect my 9 year old who it's for will be thrilled anyway :-)
