Description

New from Silverlit, the makers of the world's tiniest and best RC helicopters, the Pico Insecta adds some dragonfly-styled fun to the range.

If your mum or big sister is freaked out by large insects, this is just the thing to buzz around their head if you want to surprise her. If you've ever watched dragonflies buzzing over a pond, you'll know they're capable of some amazing manoeuvres, and this mini-helicopter certainly takes after them in this respect.

Available in three colours, the new Insecta series features super wide infrared control and its miniature size and light weight construction from a unique material ensures they can withstand most crashes and fly with an unprecedented level of stability and precision.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Good fun - shame about the battery!

One of the best two channel indoor helecoptors that I've tried. Reasonably easy to fly and the flashing eyes make it fun to play with at night. Unfortunately after many many hours of fun, I cannot get the battey to charge, so it is now destined for the craft knife and an attempt to replace the internal battery.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Great fun and looks cool

This Insecta helicopter is a super little gadget, to begin with flying the chopper was a bit tricky as it plummeted into house plants, walls, furniture etc, the rotors and chopper however remained intact, then I discovered the manual tucked under the main box. A day later and I can keep going for ages. My girlfriend has the silverlit rotor-x one now as well and she loves it, I think the Insecta model holds more charge and has a longer flying time.
The Insect style and flashing green sides make flying fun at night as well, a recommended toy for everyone.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Great Fun!!

This is my second picco z chopper (my first one being the Desert King) and it handles quite differently, firstly that they have added a little extra weight to the front so when you are flying it, it is now always moving fowards! Its trickier to fly compared to the other ones and will take more practice to master but once you have done that its brilliant fun.

The eyes that light up are a nice little feature for night time flying and its quieter to! Charge time is around the same as the others being about 20 mins.

Overall a brilliant gadget for kids and big kids like myself!!!
