40 years after its creation the Dubreq Stylophone is back. Introduced to the public in 1968, over 3 million were sold and the Stylophone became an iconic item. The Stylophone is an electronic pocket organ that enables the user to create music by tapping and dragging a stylus across a metallic surface. Moving the stylus around the metal surface will alter the pitch of the note sounding from the internal speaker.David Bowie, Marilyn Manson, Rolf Harris and They Might Be Giants have all used the stylophone on their records. The Stylophone has been updated for 2008. Choose between Classic, Synth or Bass sounds, with or without vibrato enhancement, or play along to any music on your MP3 or other audio device. The relaunched Stylophone also has a headphone socket and volume control. It doesn't get any more retro than the Stylophone.

This can be very entertaining if you are the one that is using it, for the other people around it can be quite annoying. Very easy to use, but it also has optional more advanced features. Very good idea, good size, and overall a good buy!

Stylophones are great fun! I found Christmas song books for mine on Ebay. They're easy to follow and make it much more interesting if you have some well known songs to play.
