Everybody Loves Ice Cream Lip Gloss (Bag Of 4)

These are extremely small, 4g each pot. They are about 3.5cm high and 3cm across the top. Small, expensive lip glosses are everywhere at the moment. A large high street chemist chain has its own version, more or less identical for 5.00 which you can get on a 3 for 2 offer at the moment. The ones here are lovely (presentation-wise, I haven't tried them myself). I did expect for such a premium price that they would be made in the UK but was very disappointed to find that they are made in Taiwan. However, others that I've looked at are either Taiwan or China.
If you can get a good deal on these they make great stocking fillers and I am very pleased with mine, otherwise I think they're too expensive for what they are. I paid 3.99 and they did reduce further to 3.49 which I would say is a fair price to pay.
UPDATE I have now tried these myself and changed my original rating from 3 stars to 1 star. I am very disappointed. These are purely a novelty item. They don't coat your lips and you have to use your imagination to get the stated smell. Once on your lips there is no flavour at all, they taste more like plastic than anyting else. Chapsticks that you can buy give a really strong flavour, these give nothing. You need to apply quite a lot to get any effect and that was difficult until I realised that they have a twist up bottom ! Doesn't seem to be very long lasting. I find that I'm re-applying quite often. They don't glide on easily and work better if you leave them in your pocket to warm up. I like my lip glosses to be sticky and glossy, these are neither, they are matt and dry.
I thought that these would make nice stocking fillers but I would not recommend, they are not fit for purpose.

I thought these looked great on the website and thought, looking at the picture, they were about the size of a vaseline tin, not massive, but a decent size. I wish I'd read the comments on here first because they've come back and are absolutely tiny! I thought, as with a lot of things on Play, I was getting a bargain, but I find myself a bit dissapointed. It was meant as a small 'side' gift, but now will have to be a small stocking filler.

I bought these along with 'chocolate' lip glosses thinking they would be about equal. These are nothing in comparison. Although they are nice and different wee things they are still quite small and the presentation isnt as good as my other purchase.

I wouldnt really say these are worth the money. :-(

These are more like lip balms than lip gloss. Yes, they are a bit weenie but since the balms are quite big themselves this makes up for it. There's a nice selection of smells: bubble gum, mint chocolate, strawberry and chocolate brownie. There isn't any taste and they don't do much to your lips except coat them in a protective balm that smells nice, but they do make a lovely little stocking filler. If you want makeup that makes a difference to your lips then I wouldn't recommend these, however they would be great for a younger girl or just for people who like great smells!

Very small (about the same size as the picture) practically impossible to use and to be honest they don't even smell that good, just okay.
If they were cheaper then they'd be worth it.

I have also purchased the Naughty but Nice lip gloss set and this one was a little disappointing in comparison as the packaging is quite plain but the lip glosses inside smell delicious!! As with the Naughty but Nice a great stocking filler!!

its really cute, but for five pound! it is cute though so it makes up for that. it is reallllly small though bit dissapointed. the box itself is about 5cm wide on both sides it that. if they could make it smaller they would have. but then u wouldnt see it. :*

My gf was well happy after she saw the pic and cant wait to get it

I bought this item for my girlfriend for a xmas present its cute but disappointing i thought it would hav bin a little bit bigger for longer lasting

Just got my everybody loves icecream lipglosses and they smell and taste fantastic, though its a bit hard to stop yourself eating the chocolate brownie one as you can still smell it when you have it on! Only thing i would say is that its a bit on the small side so they wont last long at all if you like your lipgloss, but they would be perfect as a stocking filler. Merry christmas!
