works ok box isnt as big as the picture id think this could be a bit more responive and didnt know you had to use the nunchuck to use it :)

  Great add-on for the money

This is really just a glorified pedometer but it does make you move around. I've only used it with Links Crossbow so far but it gives better control of movement than the nunchuck alone. Use the nunchuck for direction & jog on the spot with the wii jog to control your speed. Check the number of steps & calories burned at the end to see how much exercise you did while playing.
It can take a bit to get used to - kept using just the nunchuck to start - but it soon becomes just part of the game.
Highly recommended if you want to burn off more calories or get a bit fitter - (every little helps!)

  Entertaining....funnily enough!

Not a bad piece of kit and well worth the money just for the entertainment value it provided everyone when I went flying a*** over t** whilst trying to jog on the spot.....a torn ligament later and we're still laughing at how funny my on-screen character looked when I stacked it. Funny times!

  OK Piece of Equipment!

| | See all Calzer's reviews (23)

This accessory is just OK and nothing else.

What is the point in spending 15 pounds on something that makes your character move at the same time as you, when you could buy a game or a better accessory.

If MotionPlus wasn't confirmed, then this might have been good, wait for Wii MotionPlus for around the same price.

Not a totally bad piece of equipment, but not worth the asking price!

  Fantastic!!

Bought one of these last week as my children love the Wii. My oldest son dislikes the Wii Fit games so I thought he might like this option better, and he did !! My 3 year old loves to play the same games as his big brother and without the jOG he would run or walk on the spot anyway so now he finds it hilarious that his man on the TV moves when he does.
Anyone with a Wii should definately buy one of these jOG Motion Controllers and if you have children its essential... so, so funny watching them play their favourite games, walking on the spot and getting some exercise too.
I'm gonna struggle to find excuses for them to turn the Wii off now ... They are exercising afterall !!
So in my opinion its a very, very, very well spent £18...

  Nice little gadget

I think some people expect this to detect your movement in directions, and translate it on the game. No, you still need to use the nunchuk and hold it down in the direction you are going. Just to confirm, as some may be wondering.

I really like this. I use it on a few single player games and Table Tennis especially. I must admit, I am a fitness junkie. But Jog works really well - which I didn't expect really. Every time you start your jogging on the spot, your character moves on screen. I gave it a 4 star score, as I can see how some would think it is a bit of a gimmick. If you are looking to burn a few more calories while enjoying certain games, I really do recommend it.

Only useful if you wanna get fit

| | See all Ripleyclone's reviews (15)

Takes a bit of getting used to as you can't move unless you walk/run - I'm using it on Zelda twilight princess. I don't mind it but my daughter hates it on My sims - it just frustrated her.

If you want a workout then I would recommend it but otherwise it's not much fun. It really sensitive and counts every slight movement as a step.

It would be so much better if it recognised the difference between running and walking like wii fit jogging. As it is you could stroll along or sprint and your character moves at the same speed.

  BEST WII ACCESSORY YET

| | See all elmhurstprincess's reviews (1)

The best wii Accessory i have brought by a mile!! cheap compared to the wii fit and gives you just as much of a workout. The whole family love it! The perdometer and calorie counter are great for measuring the amount of exrcise instead of going to the gym. Defenetely worth purchasing for all ages

Keep fit and have fun - great idea

Brilliant concept forcing you to jog on the spot to be able to play - Mario Power Tennis works very well as does Sonic Rush. Shame price has dropped since buying it - well worth the money though. Good construction and design.

  Sweaty Fun

The Wii Jog is really good fun. After a good 20mins i was starting to sweat as i was playing Zelda. It brings a new dynamic to the game, it makes you think about your whole body not just your arms. A great buy and something you must try out!
