Electronic Money Counting Jar

First of all, I thought I'd give this product the benefit of the doubt, as people on here was saying bad and good things. I thought I'd give it a chance and it was working great and week later when I put coins in from time to time, it stopped working and started to believe some of the reviews on here. It was rubbish. I paid, 8.09 and wouldn't even pay a fiver for it as it is now. Very upset with the seller and because it worked first of all and thought everything was fine with it, I threw the box away so I can't even send it back. Now I am stuck with the rubbish thing. Now all it's good for is storage rather than it's actual use.

Does it work with euro coins.

Absolutely useless. Mistakes every coin for something else. According to the display, I had a whopping 6.90 in change after depositing 70 odd pence. The only way to get an accurate reading is to place each coin into the slot very slowly. Even then, chances are it will still be wrong. God help you if you already have a large amount of change to put in this bin.

Waste of money!

This thing was absolutely Great!
Till i had the need to reset it. . .
Long LONG Story short, followed instructions, stopped working. . . . 30 minuets later, Randomly worked and reset after a long battle with it Not resetting properly and being stuck without counting anything...
Despite the trouble resetting, it is a great product, well worth the bargain, i just hope mine doesn't break next time i reset it like it felt like today...

We got this for xmas and it is very good. Works very well and already planning to buy some for xmas gifts. The size is perfect but i wish it could be bigger

Doe's the jar take two pound coins as the picture makes the slot seem small?

A good money counter. The only problem is when on occasions it mistakes 10p and 2p for a pound. Apart from this it is a great present and for a fiver u can't go wrong.

The LED screen was already broken from the first use so cant even see how much is in there completely pointless now as its just like any other money box and does nothing . . . really disapointed

i bought this for my father for christmas due to the fact that he likes to save his pennys. the product arrived and i was worried about it not working. i tried it out and it worked to perfection. i was amazed on how the machine knew what was going into the jar. i suppose its quicker and easier to have the jar count the money for you. im sure my dad will love it :) thanks

bought this as me and my partner save 1p 2p and 5p's. is a good size although must admit picture makes it look a bit bigger than it actually is. no problems at all with the counter and love watching the amount rise!! def reccomend
