Though search and rescue is his primary function - and one he happens to be very good at - Inferno loves nothing more than a good fight. In fact, he will often abandon his duties or even ignore direct orders, just to go antagonize Decepticons. He especially loves to get up close to his enemies, where the energy-damping field he generates to help suppress fires can eliminate the effectiveness of their weapons. He uses the chemical foam sprayed from his arm cannon to blind opponents as often as he uses it to put out fires.

Prepare to roll into battle with this Generation 2 Series Autobot ally! In robot mode, blast at the enemy with his firing arm cannon! Convert to fire-rescue vehicle mode and this warrior sports a launching "water" blast! The battle is on - are you ready?

I have had this toy for a while, and I absolutely love it. Inferno is gorgeous in both robot and vehicle mode. I mainly keep him in Fire Truck mode, as I think it's beautiful. The transformation is simple and in genius. The Fire Truck red is dark but still gorgeous.

well nothings better than when they get an original character and revamp it, well besides the crappy galvatron they did, but this is a great new version of one of the more lacklustre originals. amazing packaging and is better than majority of universe line thus far, would recommend buying, but dont delay as he isnt stocked in retail stores so unless your quick he will be done and dusted!!

The only new Voyager mold in the Universe (classics 2.0) line, and the best. It has some great engineering and is solid in both modes.
The box art says Generation 2, which is probably a clever ploy by Hasbro to not give him his ladder like his G1 counterpart. (G2 had ladder and water cannon) That is just nitpicking. Hopefully we will see this mold return as grapple someday. But for now, buy this bot!
He's awesome.
