Please make sure to read the product description of both these glasses and your 3D image before buying.
These are RED/BLUE 3D glasses and will ONLY work on images of that type.
The previous bad reviewers have obviously not looked into this and haven't realised that there are 2 other types of Anaglyph 3D, RED/CYAN and RED/GREEN. These glasses will NOT work for the other two types.
Unfortunately a lot of new films use RED/CYAN and these glasses are incompatible. It's not the fault of the glasses, please stop giving them a low review because you made a mistake and bought the wrong ones.
I hope this helps any potential buyers. Don't be put off by low reviews. If you have a RED/BLUE 3D image then these work absolutely fine, or if you're just into them for the novelty then who cares anyway! :-}
Much better than the cardboard rubbish. last a lot longer, far more comfortable.
I watched my friend get a paper cut from the cardboard ones lol.. leading me to much safer.
And just generally cheap. 5/5 recommend!!
I thought people were being stupid, not understanding how 3d red/cyan anaglyph glasses work and expecting them to work with red/green or interlaced 3d films, but that's not the case at all. The colour of the cyan lens is slightly out, resulting in ridiculously evident overlap whether viewing stereoscopic images, films or games using Nvidia's stereoscopic driver.
I bought these glasses to replace a free cardboard pair that have no arms, but they are far far worse. The free cardboard ones actually work 100% correctly. So, £5 down the drain.
The red lens works perfectly (not leting any green or blue light through). The cyan lens lets blue light through, green light through and red light through. So they Simply Don't Work.
Im not sure if they where designed like this or its just a quality control issue. Regardless I am very disappointed.
These are NOT the glasses for My Bloody Valentine, Valentine require Magenta/Green combination. These Glasses are red/blue (cyan).
The 3D movies at the cinema use a completely different technology which cannot work on normal TV screens, hence why the cinema style 'sunglasses' dont work with 3D movies at home and coloured 3D glasses dont work at the cinema.
