the puzzle solvers return again to find out how luke, the prof's apprentice, receives a letter from the future from himself. Its the same old format but still addictive to play, with the same brain teasers and riddles to solve, and with the game being themed around time travel there are plenty of clock related puzzles to get stuck on!
If you've played the others you know what to expect, sure to be another hit!

 But of Course!

The tried, tested and massively successful formula has not changed one bit since the release of the first game way back when. Whilst most franchises may suffer from this, prof Layton certainly does not. This is still a quality game with just enough teeny tweaks and new mini game challenges to keep it fresh. Now here's where some people might disagree with me.... the storyline left me a little cold! They keep getting more and more ridiculous in every game. I'm not the kind of person to care about a story line and play a lot of games that virtually have non (e.g mario) but when its one of the biggest selling points, thats when I care. I did like how you got to know more about prof Layton but I'm sorry it was ridiculous! I can't explain why as I don't want to spoil it for some people. As contradictive as my last statement seems, I still really enjoyed this game and would highly recomend it. It's just that I don't think the story line of this game is the high point in the series as many people think.

This is the best Professor Layton game yet!!!

I really enjoyed playing Professor Layton: The Curious Village and Professor Layton: Pandora's Box on the DS because both games take full advantage of the touch screen controls and the graphics are very impressive too. They are like playing a cartoon with a very well written story and the puzzles really get your braing working.
The Lost Future has the best story because Layton and Luke have a epic journey through time and uncover secrets from Professor Layton's past. There are over 165 new interesting and easier puzzles for you to work out. Also for you to enjoy there are three new minigames which are great fun too. All in all the Professor Layton trilogy on the DS has ended in fantastic style and our next dose of Layton will be on the very cool 3D-DS which has about the same power as a Wii can't wait.
The film Professor Layton And The Eternal Diva is out now which is very good especially if you are a fan of the ds games like myself.

 Another Great Professor Layton Game

Fantastic game, good story, and fun puzzles, can't really fault it. This game is an improvement on the previous game feeling slightly more 'polished' and a big improvement on the first.
It features much more voice acting, cut-scenes, and general story based elements than before, so if you didn't like or couldn't be bothered with the story elements in the first games you may not like this one as much, but it's still worth a buy anyway.
One new addition to this game is the ability to use a 'super hint' which is useful when you are really stuck on a puzzle.
In summary: Buy it.

 Excellent Game!

Had a Dsi for christmas and this game. It was immediately my favourite game and i couldnt put it down!
A really good story with lots of twists and turns. Also plenty of mini puzzles at varying levels! Some were fairly easy and others i had to use all the hints and was still left confused for a while!
Was very disappointed when this game came to an end!
