When somebody told me this game was due to be released i didnt get over excited. there been so many "close to" arkanoid games that i thought this would just be another knock off attempt.... how wrong.

Slightly different to the way i remember it on my anstrad as a kid (Yes, thats right, an amstrad.. well someone had to have one right ?). Im not sure about the barrier levels and the way they seem to reset themself at every new level you reach.... and what all this about different zones ??.

Anyway, enough of that, thats just the technical side... if you liked the game back when it was first released you will love it just as much now, i even recognise some of the same layouts from 20 years ago !!!.

The game contains many unlockable features which just keep encouraging you to play, not that you need encouragement... i got the game and had to call in sick for a week because i couldnt put it down.

It really is a game for everyone, even if your not a big game fan because you feel things have just got to complicated (And boy, do i agree with that), this is basic to pick up and within 60 seconds your a pro !

2 words.. BUY IT !

 You can't believe all you read in the newspapers!

A rather damning review of this in one tabloid went on the lines of ...what's the point when you can play similar on your mobile phone...

Masses of points as far as I can see:-

It is just as good as the Arkanoid I have on my pc (which came from I know not where as it just suddenly appeared);

It is a highly addictive and lengthy game (v. good excuse for not doing ironing, cleaning etc.);

It has excellent features including customisation and the option to play with stylus or keys;

Same as a mobile phone game - no way!

Indeed so far I have only found one downside - I now have to purchase a second as I made the mistake of letting my partner "try" it and that's the last I have seen of it!

Arkanoid is an old school but the DS version is backstab as the euro version doesn't get a paddle controller , the experience for this game is flawed but the stylus still works but you won't get the same affect

Hmmm... Yeah it's pretty good but the split screen is very annoying and can cause you to make mistakes....

Not as good as i had hoped =-(

I bought this not realisng it was second hand. It was a mistake as it does not work. When I switch it on it starts with the 3rd level - what happened to the firet 2? I have read the book but still cannot see what is wrong.
