As an official of Bomberman, I happened to have played the SEGA version of this sell-out game, I found that brilliant, excellent 2D graphics, excellent gameplay and perfect story missions and fun with 3 friends aswell. This game is much much further developed than that. Bomberman DS has more levels or areas than before, it has an improved item system, although i miss the kangaroo things that you could ride around with speed or agilty etc. they have them in items now and much more too. And then there's the multi-play, it's fantastic, it's wireless, it's portable and there's no need for you all to have a game card either. Good for parties, for friend visits and good for playing alone. What a game this is. Buy, you must.

 I love this game!!

I have always loved this tricky yet fun game. Since i played it in 1995 i have loved it (On SNES format). you will be on it for days and mabey even months in a row. It is so enjoyable. Buy it, it will end up being your favorite game too.

 I can't believe these reviews

Bomberman for DS is a huge step backwards from Super Bomberman 2 onwards, and anyone who's played earlier Bomberman games will be able to tell you that. The core gameplay is here, so it's still a laugh... but only in 2-player. The single player game is horrible - every stage is exactly the same, unlike the SNES games where different areas featured different puzzles, traps, items and bosses. The music, unlike the older games, absolutely sucks, the soundtrack consisting of short loops of forgettable yet grating rubbish with no variety. The visuals have gone horribly childish too.

The game is cheap for a reason. Fair enough, it still plays like a Bomberman game should, and if you have enough friends with the game then you might have a laugh but this has to be one of the worst games in the Bomberman series

 The original and Great Bomberman

Not played bomberman, you must.

The great thing about hand held consoles is you can dive in and out of them, and this is no better an example as in bomberman.

Levels fast and furious, power ups incredible and when playing on Story mode rewarding. I love punching bombs etc...

For me though, the 4 players starting in opposite corners who must find there way to each other until the last Bomberman is standing is the best game mode.

DS features include a voice activated Bomb as the DS has a built in microphone - Just don't go shouting bomb at your DS in an airport as one of work colleagues did.
Buy it now whilst its here at £10 - ITs a steal!
