 Dont Expect Gran Turismo...

Got this title on release day and i must say despite all the negative reviews and comments it really isn't that bad. The game is presented quite well in 3D but can suffer with slow down when then going gets tough. If you like your cars with real licensing then this is more of a choice over the other racing games available on the 3DS. The tracks are well thought of and will often require some quick thinking around some of the turns and to avoid the constant flow of traffic which is present in most races. Like the old Need for Speed games you can decorate you vehicle with decals and tweak the engine as you progress through the Career mode unlocking engine parts, turbos, etc etc. There are a great selection of cars available aswell as Motorbikes which are unlocked too. If you can find the game for a good price i would consider picking it up if you want a racer that is less serious than some of its other counterparts on the gaming market.

After playing asphalt for about an hour i feel quite let down. This game is quite enyoyable if it wasn't for the frequent slowing down and choppy gameplay, hence 3 stars has it could have been a very good game.
Ridge racer is a better racing game at the moment for 3ds.
