Do you have what it takes to master the martial arts and prove yourself a true Ninja? In Naruto: Ninja Council that's exactly what you'll have to do if you're going to successfully guide teenage warrior Naruto and his friends through more than 60 dangerous missions!

Based on hit Japanese anime series Shonen Jump, Naruto: Ninja Council invites you to hone your fighting skills by taking control of 27 playable characters. As you battle your way through various challenges you'll unlock all of these characters and then combine their skills to unleash super attacks on those who stand in your way. Some of your special attacks can be activated by touching the DS Touch Screen with the stylus or even blowing into the microphone. Choosing which Ninja's skills to use for a particular battle and playing to your strengths is essential as you tackle some weird and wonderful opponents!

The missions in Naruto: Ninja Council could require you to dispatch of 30 enemies in a set time limit, protect another character or just take part in a good old fashioned one-on-one tear up. Successfully completing missions will unlock more challenges for you to face, while a map displayed on the DS Touch Screen will chart your progress as you advance to new levels.

If you want to test the fighting skills you have picked up along the way in mission mode, you can connect wirelessly with up to three other friends thanks to DS Multi-Card Play. Once in multi-player mode you can go head-to-head with your friends in huge 2D arenas - competing as teams or taking part in a no-holds-barred free for all! With a host of missions and characters to unlock, a chaotic multi-player mode and a unique style all of its own, Naruto: Ninja Council is an action-packed adventure that certainly packs a punch!
  • Choose from 27 playable characters and combine their skills to produce an almost unlimited number of attack combinations.
  • Battle through more than 60 varied missions, unlocking more challenges and characters as you go.
  • Test your Ninja skills against up to three of your friends wirelessly thanks to DS Multi-Card Play.

Naruto has been on many consoles but now he's on the Nintendo DS!With 60 missions and 27 characters you would be stuck to the DS all day!

 Better Than Most Anime Games

Ninja Council or to give it's proper name Ninja Council 3 is Naruto's first DS appearance in Europe and it's not that bad of a game. Out of all the Ninja Council games it allows you to play as the most characters, gives you the most variety of missions and in general quite decent game mechanics. My only issues are that the game is too short, very easy and if you don't like the dub voices your going to find it very annoying listening to the word "Jutsu" with every attack.
Overall it's better than most other anime games.
