A professor has a cute pet dog that dreams of one day becoming a cat. You control a boy named Terry, whom the professor needs to gather some power cells that can get his space lab back up and running. The power cells have been scattered all around a tropical archipelago, and the space lab becomes a ship that can sail between these islands. So Terry must set out on foot to run the professor's errands, and he'll encounter all kinds of weird monsters, the military, and a rival band of adventurers called the CosmoNOTs....
  • Abundant gameplay activities including animal-training, item-collecting, monster-hunting, and old-school mini-games!
  • Dual-screen functionality with mission maps, interior/exterior viewpoints, and more!
  • Real-time combat with special abilities and powerful "Decal Attacks"!
  • Character design by Atsuko Fukushima, whose credits include the PSP hit PoPoLoCrois!

Here it is! The pioneering RPG of the DS

This has gone severly un-noticed, and with the lack of publicity, I can't really say that it's a surprise. BUT PLEASE! If there are any curious DS owners out there looking at it now, buy this as it is an excellent little game. You play as a mediator between the dodgy looking prof. dude on the front of the case, who's ship has crash landed on an island, and a young'un called terry who has been...ahem..."abducted" as such by this prof. The prof gets the top screen, and talks to YOU, whilst you tell terry what to do and control him on the bottom screen with your stylus. The graphics are very nice indeed, with a hand drawn visual style that uses watercolour style environments in a pseudo-3D layout. Terry has to gather the cells from these beautiful environments, battering creatures and defending himself from the shady agency that follow his every move on the way. The game is incredibly deep with well over 100 sidequests, once you have finished the substantial main quest, and even 4 secret bosses to find and beat once you finish the game! Terry levels up in a similar style to many other games in that as you get hit your defense increases, as you steal from people your thief increases, as you hit things with a club your blunt wpn skill increases etc. The skills you can use are also limited to the costume you wear at that moment in time and adds an element of strategy to the game. The game is also extremely difficult and you will find yourself regularly destroyed by groups of enemies if you don't go into dungeons prepared. Summarily, I think this is an awesome little RPG for the DS and you'd be mad to miss it, especially for 18 notes.

Great Escapism, from the REAL world

This may not be, a top of the range game, but i think it's a great game, to escape the reality of life... simple to play and easy to get 'into'.
These days, my Housework and decorating, get an hour break, whilst i travel to some unusual places, with tasks to complete... This game is not only for the kids...I'm 43 years of age!

 Must have top notch game

Very well planned out game, fun and surreal, with lots of action packed into one game all you can do is let it all out and this game allows you to do this, and if you are an RPG game fan this this is heaven as it would be in the top 5 if i had a famous game list lol.

 A good game

This is not one of my favorite game but it is a good game. In this game you play as Terry and you have to help the professor collect cells so he can power up his ship. The bettle system took me a while to get use to. Throughout the game you get 7 new costumes and each costume give you different abilities. There are 9 different colorful worlds to travel to and over 100 items to collect.

this is an average game. Its not fantastic, its not terrible.
Maybe it would be more suited to kids, who get excited about things like space dogs! dont get me wrong, i do play it, but its not addictive like many other DS games. also not that great for a ten minute quickplay.
