Pokémon Pearl Version is a traditional Pokémon RPG that takes place in a region called Sinnoh.

In the Sinnoh region, there are two Pokémon that symbolize the region. They appear in the Sinnoh reigon's myths and old folklore. One is called Dialga, and is said to have the power to control time. The other is called Palkia, who is said to have the ability to distort space. The sinister organization called Team Galactic is trying to rule the region by utilising these two Pokémon's power. During your adventure to complete your Pokedex and become the Champion, these two Pokémon, and Team Galactic, intertwine into the story and lead you on a fantastic journey across the Sinnoh region.

When you set off on your travels, you play as either a boy or girl Trainer. You can utilise the DS's dual slots to transfer Pokémon from the GBA Pokémon games and you can link up with Pokémon Ranger to access more special content. Pokémon fans have caught glimpses of Mime Jr., Lucario, Munchlax and Weavile in Pokémon movies, and these Pokémon feature in this game.

One of the best aspects of Pokémon games is the ability to trade and battle with other Trainers, and Nintendo DS allows you to connect with other Pokémon fans wirelessly. What's even more intriguing is that Pokémon Pearl Version will be compatible with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, allowing you to trade and battle with other Trainers around the world. Pokémon Pearl Version and Pokémon Diamond Version also feature voice chat capabilities, so you'll have no problems communicating with your online friends.
  • New Online Capabilities: Share and battle pokemon with players around the world on WFC and players can chat with friends using the Microphone.
  • Alternative Wi-Fi game play opportunities to battling, such as cooking cakes and exploring tunnels for treasure with up to 16 friends!
  • Real-time clock feature changes the time of day based on the DS clock. The Pokémon you can catch vary based on the region and the time of day. Also, certain Pokémon moves' power changes based on time.
  • More Elaborate Pokémon Contests: Players can use the accessories and dress up their Pokémon. Players make "Poffin" out of berries to raise their Pokémon's contest stats.
  • New dual-type Pokémon, new/altered moves, and new special abilities add to the already deep strategy of Pokémon battling.
  • 3D environments and updated graphics.
  • Import previously captured pokemon from all of the pokemon series on the GBA.
  • Version Specific Pokemon: Pokemon Pearl Version and Diamond Version each contain version specific pokemon - if you want to catch 'em all you'll need to trade with friends or online players to complete your Pokedex.

If you have a DS, preorder this.
It's as simple as that, you need this game, I got mine from the US and wow...
It has to be not only the best Pokemon game in existence with it's extensive game play, but probably the best game ever in my eyes!
Best RPG for sure!
Buy It Buy It Buy It!
(Well preorder until it's release date)
You will not be dissapointed, trust me!

 This is one brilliant game

The core gameplay of the Pokemon series is to catch as many of the cute (and powerful)
creatures as you can, train them, and take down other trainers by battling. Well, these games are no different. You'll find many of them in the wild, and of course there's always trading, which is hands-down as good as it can get now, since using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to trade is easy to use.
With a ton of other features, like the Underground, Contests, the Battle Tower, and Union Rooms, There are dozens of things to do with your friends.
got pokemon pearl recently and i havent put my ds down its so exciting and rather challenging.
Meet with other trainers and battle or trade pokemon
3d graffix are brill
the pochitech with a new catch phrase - its pochitime
and brand spanking new pokemon.
Training is very important now, perhaps more than ever. The Gym leaders and Elite Four are in the same level range as in Red, Blue, and Yellow versions. And if you don't train your butt off, it'll get kicked . . . trust me.
The day/night feature is back, meaning some Pokemon appear only at day and at night.
Overall this is a really exciting game and will keep you enthralled for hours/days/months.

 another great pokemon game

if you are a fan of pokemon i would say get this game now. its so much better in emerald and yet it still has the addictive game play!!!! i dont know many of the new pokemons names cause they are all really long and complicated. in this game you have two new hms rock climb and defog and your rival is actually your friend.gameplay is more challenging and each gym has a complicated mase until you get to its leader.the contests are really fun as you can dress up your pokemon and make them dance. the migrate thing is really good two as you only need one ds. i think this game is great and i dont even have wi-fi.... i still havent finished it yet nd im sure more surprises await me!!!

 Best game for ds
