Nintendo DS Lite is a lighter and brighter version of the highly successful Nintendo DS, which has sold more than 4 million units across Europe and 16 milllion units worldwide.
Nintendo's latest console includes all the existing features of the Nintendo DS, yet includes a variety of distinctive changes which truly sets it apart from other handheld consoles. Nintendo DS Lite retains the advanced touch screen technology, allowing players to control the software with a stylus or even their finger, as well as dual screens, voice recognition and Wi-Fi capabilities of the Nintendo DS but is now both smaller and lighter. Weighing nearly 60g less than the original, it is just two thirds of the original size. Lovely looking piece of kit (I have the green one).
Graphics obviously aren't brilliant on it, but I dont really think nintendos are about graphics, they games on them are just fun!

I was purchased one of these for christmas and i am very thankful. I was on it for hours on end when i first unwrapped it and still play on it to this day. This is well worth the money and is better than the old ds.

Had one of these bad boys for a while now, used to have the old one but upgraded .. glad i did. If i'm honest, i don't play it as much as i used to but it's still a lot of fun when i do. The general idea of ds games are quick bursts of pick up and play. One of the little nifty tricks i've done with with my ds is that using a "R4 Revolution" card and a mini sd card you can play homebrew games and applications. One of the most popular applications used is ScummVM, using this program you can play classic pc games such as Monkey Island and Beneath the steal sky. It is also legal to load roms of your own bought ds games onto the card and play all your games with out the need to change cartridge.
