     Clever and VERY useful!

I wasnt sure when i bought this if it was going to work or not, but i have been pleasently surprised! I think its best if your looking at losing weight rather than watching your activity. It makes watching your weight and being actitve really fun, Carol calculates your burnt kcals and analyses your day. It shows you if your losing weight too fast or not doing enough. You can add all types of excersise to your 'body diary' and it calculates it all into 'steps'.
The activity meter is very good, it doesnt have a screen that you can see how many youve done, but Carol 'tunes' the meter into your DS where shes set up a diet programme using your BMI and the meter will flash green when youve done your target amount of steps, which you upload by simply pointing it at the game card.

Overall a very clever programme and game, well worth it!

     Brilliant!

I grabbed this for my Mrs as like all women she thinks she is fatter than actually she is. Its easy to use and its fun too, she loves playing with it and is always wearing the gadget for step counting. She works in a jewellers and is always on her feet, up and down stairs so the counter works well. She tells me that everytime she opens the fridge just having the device attached makes her think twice. An all round great toy but if you work in an office, you will probably need to walk to work also just so you don't get depressed with the amount of steps you do.

     I love it

The only thing I don't like about this game is that it shows how inactive I am!

I brought this after recently putting on quite a bit of weight, and although I belong to a gym I never go as I thought I had quite an active lifestyle anyway! After using this for a 2 days I realised that this wasn't the case, and although I'm busy I'm not doing as many 'steps' as I thought. Now I feel bad everytime I think about not going to the gym, or taking the car to the local shops instead of walking.

Its really easy to use, it talks you through the set up process which takes a matter of minutes and then you're away. Its easy to enter all your daily food intake, you can either choose from the quick entry menu, search by word, or enter your own details from the nutrional information found on most food packets. Although this last option may seem time consuming once they are in there you can select them again so becomes much quicker.

I think the game could be a little more involved with more analysis from 'Carol' however I have only been using this a few days so maybe there is more as the game goes on.
Overall I am very pleased with this and would recommend it to anyone looking to try and lose weight.

     Active Health is great BUT

The game it's self is great I was learning a great deal about what I ate and my activity levels. BUT the activity meter which is supposed to be worn during activities kept falling off my belt or waist band. All but the last time I found it. Now I have a really good game but no activitiy meter. I bought the game on 6th August lost the meter on 31st August and no one will accept the clip is useless, I am told I can buy a new one at £17.99 but where? surely the clip should with stand activity?

Now I only got this yesterday but...

I got this game yesterday and set it up last night in preparation for today. The only downside I've seen to it so far was thatit basically said that I didn't complete my step target for yesterday. But that's ok. If you set it up on the very day you intend to use it, it will be fine. Already I'm seeing the little benefits to having this accessory. It's quite a girly accessory so I shouldn't imagone that guys would love it. Like this morning for example after imputting my breakfast items and snacks etc, I could see that my sugar intake was higher than I wished because I eat a lot of fruit.
Another thing I like about it is that it only measures yours steps if you've been walking for longer than 10 seconds. It means that it won't count any random movement as a step. It's so easy to then transfer them to the DS and see how you are progressing. Also, I'm looking forward to the sweet projects that I need to unlock. It's the perfect accompanyment to any fitness regime and quite fun. I'd imagine that it might get difficult to imput your food consumption because obviously the game only has a limited amount of food items but you can get a general idea which is a sight better than having no idea...
