In his evil plot to take over the Mushroom Kingdom, Fawful tricks Bowser into eating a magic mushroom. The mushroom causes Bowser to begin inhaling everything around him, including Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach! Do the Mario Bros. have the guts to rescue Peach and escape?

  • Players are in control of two separate storylines. One features Bowser and his efforts to stop an arch-villain from taking over his castle. Meanwhile, inside Bowser, the microbe-sized Mario and Luigi must muscle their way through challenges and keep their nerve if they want to find a way out. They take action to control Bowser from the inside - but without his knowledge.
  • Players can switch between storylines at will. What happens inside Bowser affects what he's doing on the outside. Sometimes Mario and Luigi must solve puzzles and challenges behind the scenes to help Bowser overcome various obstacles and advance the plot.
  • Players must make well-timed button presses to enhance their performance during battles and challenges. In some battles, Bowser grows so large that players must turn their Nintendo DS or Nintendo DSi system sideways, blow into the microphone or tap on the touch screen with the stylus to keep up with the action.
  • The game features the same hilarious dialogue that has been the hallmark of the Mario & Luigi series.

 Simply Brilliant

It's rare these days to get a Nintendo title that is original from the bottom up (albeit with tried and tested character concepts) but when they do release one you really appreciate their supreme game making prowess. This makes perfect use of the twin DS screens, the mic and stylus; in fact, everything is so fluid in terms of combat, gameplay and puzzle solving it's hard to think of a more complete package on the DS.

You'll love building up each character through combat and item shopping and the set pieces that use M & L to help Bowser untrap himself from hilarious circumstances are pure gaming genius. A game that will bring a boyish smile to your face.

I just completed this game on boxing day and have to say that I loved it. The whole experience has been very well thought out in terms of gameplay, storyline and the cutsie graphics. Although this game isn't like the traditional "Super Mario" style games, I enjoyed the RPG format and found that switching between bowser and the mario brothers keeps things interesting throughout. The game is challenging, but well structured so you shouldn't find yourself stuck half way through; and theres plenty of gameplay to be had so you'll not be finished after half an hour! Well worth the 24.99!

Even more wacky and funny then the last one!

I thought that Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time was a most excellent rpg so when I heard the sequel Bowser's Inside Story was coming out I just knew it was going to be brilliant too. The story is hilarious with the Toad people from the Mushroom Kingdom becoming ultra massive fat balls which just roll around causing mayhem and panic. Mario and Luigi get to explore inside of Bowser's body and together they all work as a very strange team indeed. There are many nice neat touches to this well thought out rpg which will have Mario fans going wild with excitement. The graphics look great for a ds game and yes this is the best Mario rpg yet!

 Fantastic Game

Really good game, the visual graphics are all cartoony and very fun feeling, the story is unique and fun with the Mario Bros messing around inside bowser and Bowser himself, fighting to get his castle back from a new villain.

Bowser is the real star, his attacks are cool and i can't say in words how awesome it is when you turn the DS vertically and use Giant Bowser.

Fantastic Mario Game, you have to buy it. (My nephew is already getting it for his birthday)
