I played the first one in the series to the end. I found this much the same - hence by halfway thru I lost interest. A new story line but I got the feeling that some of the puzzles were just reworked puzzles from the village.

If you like these games OK - but at the price they are I will not bother. Its just too similar.

The best game on the DS by far, i just cant put it down. Not looking forward to finishing the game as i will then have nothing to play.

The puzzles in this game seem a big step down from the excellent first game, I found the sequel alot easier to put down. The professor Layton games can only really be judged on how good the puzzles are, and this one didnt quite cut it.

The story and cartoon are just as good as they were in the first one.

Has to be one of my favourite DS games, in tie with curious village. I was shocked that they'd managd to make this just as good as the first. The game for those new to the series is a puzzle game of logic puzzles and brain teasers. These are accompanied by a strong narrative with a twist.

This is an excellent game. The puzzles are far better and more challenging than the first professor layton. I didnt give it 5 stars as i thought the storyline to the game was a bit far fetched. But overall well worth the money.

The game have a nice story and several ongoing puzzles which made this a game I could not stop playing. A must have for everyone that enjoys puzzles.

I played the first game and this one is sooo much better. i enjoyed the puzzles and sovling the mystery. I played the game none stop. Can't wait 4 the next game.

I was really looking forward to playin this game when it came out as i had played curious village and really enjoyed it,all though game play is the same, as in you walk around talking to different people who give you puzzles, it still a good game and the mini games are good aswell alot of game for your money,im so sick of buying games that are completed in about an hour and are simple and boring and this game is neither of those.,buy this game you wont regret it.
