My husband bought Hori-branded DS screen protectors 12-18 months ago and was really happy with them, so about 6 months ago I followed suit.
Unfortunately they seem to have changed their production process or something as they feel different, are more difficult to attach (I had to buy two sets because I messed up the first one so badly!) and also are less long-lasting - 6 months on my touch screen protector is badly scratched and needs replacing. (My previous DS had no protector for two years and only had very light scratching so I'm not violent with it or anything!).
If anyone can suggest which make is as good as Hori used to be I'd love to hear it!
They are really easy to apply to the screens and keep them clean, infact that make the screens even easy to clean, seeing as they are resistant.
I've had mine for over a year now and they are still working perfectly. My screens are still screatch-free and clean.
I've also noticed that these filters also stop your stylus from wearing out.
With my original DS, my stylus wore out after a few months and I had to switch to the spare one, but with these filters on the screens I'm still on my original stylus.
Scratch too easily

I got these a couple of weeks ago, easy to apply and the top one does a great job. However the bottom one is REALLY scratched now, from brain training and touch darts. There might be a bad batch as there are copies coming from honk kong that are inferior. Be warned.

Awesome.
