i'm sure this game is created for very young children... but if you're a fan of pokémon and already know the basics, it can be very frustrating when you get explained everything in such great detail. it's good that you get the option to repeat the tutorial or not, but the initial tutorial takes so long to do. especially if youv died further up the game and have to go through the whole thing all over again. apart from that, good game.

  AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

awesome game it's a new style in the pokemon series and the've got it right this time.

the gameplay gets more challanging which is good and bosses are very challenging as you'd expect. and the sevret missions at the end are fun but i would have made them much harder.

  Almost there.

Love the game, the stylus action was almost directly like the Battle Frontier shows on the television. I loved using the stylus, was a lot more stylus-based than the Mario games for DS, which imitated the Gameboy games of them. Pokémon Ranger is, so far, my favourite Pokémon Game so far - Four stars.
This game will be awesome for all those who are new to Pokémon, a definate must-buy. For those who are veteran Pokémon fans, it's a LOT more of a change - for the better (unlike Rescue Team) - buy this game now. £25 is an awesome price for such a great one.

I found this game quite interesting, it really does use the stylus well and the change in gameplay style to the original Pokemon games works quite well.
But it's not all good. The game itself can be frustrating especially when you have to keep trying and trying and trying to circle a Pokemon that's causing you problems, along with the fact that the missions come and go straight away leaving you with very little breaktime.
It does all pay off in the end as you will receive Manaphy for all your hard work.
To conclude, Great Game, Quite Frustrating at times.

  Good Story

This was my first DS game, and i enjoyed it alot, mainly because it used the DS Touch Screen to it's advantage, you can use it to move your character, tame the pokemon and basically most other things, the story was fantastic as well, it kept you wanting more and more as it progressed.

Also extra missions to capture rare legendary pokemon after the story.

Play this if your a good fan of the 9th Pokemon Movie because that movie focuses on Pokemon Rangers and will shed more light on what your doing in this game

This game is so good you'll be playing it overnight!

This is one of the best games I have ever played in my life because it is so addictive. First the way to capture pokemon is very cool because you can find your own methods and styles. However this game should not be rated 3+ because it can get extremeley difficult as you get further into the game. This game is excellent for pokemon fans, worth every penny! (p.s-I reccomend ages 9 or above to fully enjoy this fabulous 5 star game!

  Tricky Adventure Game

Hi, this game may be good for the older child, but advertised as being age 3 and up is extremely unrealistic. Yes, there is no particular violence etc...however, it does not warn that the player needs to be a fluent reader! My son was nothing but frustrated with this game as he was unable to progress due not being able to read some of the difficult words and therefore this expensive game was rendered unused. Buyer beware!!
