Last year the DS sold out before Christmas and the same will happen this year. So if you are going to buy a DS for someone this Christmas then my advise is to buy one now befor they sell out and become very hard to get hold off. The DS is easy to use and very robust. There are a wide selection of games to choose from which appeal to all different people and ages. My mum has Brain Training and 42 All-Time Classics which she loves playing so much her DS is on holiday with her! Nintendo are geniuses in breaking the video game market to just about everybody. If you don't have a DS then you are missing out big time my friends!

Every female must have one of these and pinks def the best colour! I got this for my birthday and have been on it everyday since, there are really good games for it such as brain training, sims, mario etc. Unlike the psp which i feel a guy would prefer as they have more action games, but definitely get ur girlfriend/sister this for xmas she'd love it! Im so happy that we can play games like on the old nintendo 64 etc like mario karts and sonic, its so good!! And great for when your travelling on trains in the car, etc it'll keep u occupied!

I had the older silver version DS, and when the DS Lites were available, I wasnt interested in them - how much better could it be than the one I already had? gah!...

BUT my partner bought me the Pink DS Lite, and WOW what a difference! I couldnt believe how much brighter the screen was! So much more sleek and light - Very pleased!! =]

It`s cute, it`s pink and there`s lots of accessories to go with it! I love this games console! an Xbox360 may have a better picture but it costs way more and is hardly gonna fit in your handbag like a ds! very convienient for when ya going to a m8`s house, and ya can wirelessly hook up to other`s ds and play together! (oh and if your a guy, this would make a great gift for ya girlfriend, her playing video games means you can do more of the same! lol)

I bought my daughter a pink ds and she played on it all the time then my younger daughter was always grizzling that she wanted to play and as kids do they argued so i bought my younger daughter a white one for christmas. then i got the bug i was always playing on theres so then i bought myself one it came in really handy had loads of hospital appointments and got hospitalised a few times and this help keep boredom away best money ive ever spent.

I got my parents to buy me a DS for Christmas of 2005. A few weeks ago, I went out and bought a DS Lite! And what difference it makes.

In one of my games, when I played it on my Original DS, I thought the words were black.

On my DS Lite, I've realised the words are actually GREEN!

It's an amazing improvement, and I thoroughly suggest you get one.

P.S. A PSP in itself costs £129.99, the games cost £29.99, the memory sticks cost £19.99. A DS Lite and game costs just £129.99!

I'd only really heard of Nintendogs when I got this and that was the main game I brought it for as I wanted a puppy but can't in a flat. I had no idea of the amount of amazing games available for this and am now completly addicted! At first I thought that these were only for kids, but there are so many games, some educational, some just fun for the Ds that I am now completly addicted! I've also introuduced my Dad to the world of the DS and brought him one of his own so definitely not just for children.

I and the rest of my family ABSOLUTELY LUV IT!!! JUST BUY IT NOWWWWWWWW!
