Nintendo DSi XL Console - Dark Brown

got this for the bigger screen, (not the extras) previously had a DS lite, which i found things were a bit small for me, like text and cards on games like solitaire

had trouble getting it going, wouldn't respond to stylus, so had to do re-start, see page 81 of book, after that no problem

can't comment on camera etc, as prob won't use it

does have two games installed, brain training ones

it has a slightly longer stylus, but also comes with a pen stylus, which i find much better, shame it only comes in two (dark) colours

as for the glossy finish to the top of the XL, (it's great for collecting finger smudges)would rather it was matt finish, but just a personal preference

I obtained my DSiXL ON 07/03/10 and it has worked beautifully from the outset, allowing me to see previously fantastic games like Animal Crossing in a whole new bigger light! I have surfed the web with ease,and the free Flipnote Studio download has me making like a budding Hayao Miazaki! I highly recommend this to anyone wishing to upgrade their tired old DS/DS Lite, or wanting to purchase their first DS.

I waited in anticipation for this to be delivered as pre ordered it from here at play.com, and it arrived Saturday 6th March! I was so excited and am absolutly loving it.
I previously had the regular dsi which I also loved playing but this is so much better as can see lots more detail. I love playing my animal crossing wild world game on this console as I can see so much more, it is a lot clearer.
It's great to suft the net with too, it's just like a little laptop, I definatly suggest people invest in one of these little goodies.
Comes with built in brain training game which is great fun, and lots of other fun apps. I like the comfort of both stylus that come with it too, and the colour is great, it doesn't look 'dark brown', is more black. This will get a lot of use and is a great buy, I'm very pleased to be one of the first people to own one of these beautys in europe, and for 149.99 is a great buy

I was really looking forward to owning one of this but to great diappointment I have now had three a this dsi xl two red and one brown all in 24 hours. I have charged it and all I got was an error has occured please switch off and refer to the manual. Even this message appeared when trying to access the settings menu and other features on main menu. It even did it when I put a game cardridge in. I am having to send the third one to nintendo to sort out. Let's hope they can
