A good solid piece of kit. Sturdy and feels more like a home console controller. The device does take batteries but will last you 100 or so hours, so no issues here.

This item is a must if you want to play Resident Evil Revelations or Metal Gear Solid 3D. Unfortunately there are very few games that support the Circle pad Pro at the moment, but these two games alone warrant buying it.

You can also play the games for hours without crippling your hand holidng the 3DS in it's basic form.

Pro's = Good build, make certain games instantly better, easy to attach and hold.

Negatives = Second Circle pad and extra trigger button should have been inbuilt to 3DS, lack or games supporting the Circle pad Pro.

I couldn't imagine playing R.E.- Revelations without this!

When placing your 3ds in and out of the Circle Pad Pro you need to be very careful with the 3ds top screen closed. I think it's looks pretty smart myself and works well with Kid Icarus: Uprising depending on if you are left or right handed. Resident Evil: Revelations is improved by a long mile with the Circle Pad Pro and Metal Gear Solid - Snake Eater is too. There will be many more games in the near future which will take advantage of this excellent device. It only takes one triple A battery and it came with one supplied. The question on my mind and properly many others is why didn't Nintendo add two circle pads to the 3ds in the first place?
