Enjoy the challenge and excitement of the bestselling Theme Park series on the go for the first time, on Nintendo DS! Create, manage and develop your very own fun-filled park, packed with amazing rides, enticing shops and addictive sideshows, then add staff and entertainers - all via an intuitive Touch Screen interface.

Throw open your gates and let the public judge your efforts. Use your management skills to maintain an exciting, varied and safe park and your takings will soar - broken rides, bad planning and a messy environment will keep visitors away.

Balance the budget, keep shops stocked and develop new rides and features to ensure your park's success, then take your skills on a world tour, with unique attractions and staff to add a local flavour.

With three difficulty levels and three game types to choose from, plus exclusive features and unlockable extras, Theme Park delivers all the fun of this unique simulation in the most accessible format yet.

User-friendly Controls: Use the Nintendo DS stylus and Touch Screen to create and manage every aspect of your park using the top screen and Touch Screen to view and run your park. Use the stylus to accurately place, adjust or remove everything from paths and water slides to bouncy castles and merry-go-rounds. Intuitive icon menus mean building an incredible, crowd-pleasing theme park has never been so much fun.

Get a Helping Hand: Become an instant Theme Park expert with guidance from your hand-picked Advisor. Learn the basics from them in the optional tutorial, then follow their hints and tips as your park develops.

Interact With Staff: Fill your park with willing workers, then encourage their efforts with speed-boosting stylus taps. Task mechanics to keep your rides in working order, assign handymen to make your park a pleasure to visit and add entertainers to amuse queuing customers.

Build Around The World: Start your career in the UK, then advance to new countries as your success grows. Unique shops, attractions and staff - many exclusive to Nintendo DS - add local character to your parks worldwide.

Create Your Own Character: Build a unique profile with a custom name, image and more, then use DS Wireless Communications to exchange profiles, visit other players' parks and unlock Nintendo DS exclusive attractions, items and staff.

Manage Every Aspect: Control everything, from the speed of your rides to the amount of ice in your drinks. Invest in Research & Development to modify and improve attractions, shops and facilities and train your staff to create a fantastic and successful park.

Be a Financial Wizard: Keep your books in order with the day-to-day details of park accounting. Deal with the bank, set ticket prices and tweak your shops' costs to maximise profits, and use your skills to negotiate pay rises and set purchase prices.

Good remake of the ps1 version. the game is kept simple but thats what makes it so addictive

             Brill!

I nearly jumped with joy when I saw this in the shops. It used to be one of my favourite games as a kid, so I couldn't wait to get it, knowing it wouldn't disappoint me. And it didn't, it's absolute ace! Once I got use to all the controls and everything. I was playing the training mode to begin with, began the full play mode a few days ago and I'm hooked. It's great, I would definitely recommend it to anyone, it's my most played game on the DS, and I've not even had it a week yet. (minus Super Mario of course, that's taken some bashing)

             Brilliant

if you loved theme park world on the PC then you will love this game! easy controls and great building methods. also this game does not take long to get the hang of.
            recommended buy!

             Park of Fun

            | | See all Lashes's reviews (3)

I quite enjoy playing this game - its fun, addictive and keeps me quiet for hours! The only niggle I have with it is that every time you start a new park, its always the same 4 rides to start the new park with.

Apart from that - the game is cool.

             It's a Classic

            | | See all Elmo2033's reviews (8)

If you've played Theme Park before you know what this is all about, it's the same thing. It is a carbon copy of the classic which originally appeared on the PC/Amiga. If you liked it back then chance are you still like it now, it is exactly the same so don't expect anything new.

Good game could have done with some new features
