Our story starts in the sewars underneath paris where a little rat remy tries to pursue a dream to become a master chef......

You play as remy in a one player story mode. There are 4 game slots and you can have up to 4 players in the cooking game on 1 game card.

There are many obstacles trying to trip remy up as he tries to make his dream come true, like, chefs, traps.poison and grannies.
He is helped by balls, melons, coins and life tokens. 100 Coins = 1 life token.
There are diffrent locations for the missions.
Sewars
Kitchen
Houses
Freezers
Storerooms
Garden
In the kitchens and houses there are meters to show how exposed you are. You can hide under cups or cardboard boxes or cans to make the meter go down.
I the freezer you have a meter which shows how cold you are. You can stand under a lamp or collect warmth tokens to keep it down.

Cheese can help bump up your health when you need it. You have 3 cheeses to use up. They restart the cheeses each mission.

The music is authentically french and the grhics are superb. Do buy it it's great

..So that is remy's story, he settled down in his restaurant 'a la ratatoullie' and he is very happy there.

Bon soir

I agree with many people that film games are terrible but this one isnt so bad and is much better than Madagascar etc.
The bad part is that some of the levels are to long.

You'd be better off buying Cooking Mama. This 'film based' game is as rubbish as the majority of other film games. Unresponsive controls, bad graphics and no longativity. Pants.

although my 3 year old hasn't really got the hang of using the controls she loves the cooking bit, but the time runs out a little quick. i love the story mode and it seems to take quite a long time to complete which is good!

Ratatouille is great! There are 2 modes there is story mode when you are remy running through paris in sewer's,kitchen's,outsiede and an old lady's house! You pick up food in order to cook dishes and you eat cheese! In cooking mode you make the dishes cut the food put it on the cooker then add the finishing touches. In DS download play you choose a character to be with up to 4 friends and cook just like in cooking mode you can throw stars at other players to slow them down the first one finished cooking wins! It's a great game, good graphics, great multiplayer and just plain fun!

This game is awful when it come's to the cooking as it will not respond to the stylus when you are to follow the chopping instruction so there for not able to continue with the game. This was given to me as a xmas present, I would not buy this if I had a choice.
