Worms: Open Warfare 2

I've been a worms fan for a long time, and this game does not disappoint.
There are many singleplayer options which will keep you playing for many hours. There's the usual custom match where you select your landscape, game settings etc and then hop into a deathmatch with the computer.
You have a puzzle mode, which requires you to do such tasks like kill the enemy worms but with a few select weapons. Then you have a laboratory mode, with many levels which require use of the DS microphone, and touch screen.

Multiplayer is the reason I bought this game, and I am glad to say that it is brilliant. Once connected to Wifi, you can view leaderboards, add friend codes or jump straight into a ranked match. You have 3 options for ranked matches. Deathmatch, Race and Fort.
Deathmatch is your traditional worms, kill all the enemy worms and you win the match. Some good old fun which will keep you playing :)
Race is, as the title suggests. You have to get to the exit on 10 different maps before your enemy does (time wise). You have just two weapons, the ninja rope and parachutes. This is a very fun mode and can get quite tense if it's head to head.
In the fort game mode you and your enemy have two forts, and the goal is to destroy the enemy's fort. Yet another good mode.

The game also contains the usual good amount of customisation you'd expect from a Worms game. Voices, flags, names etc.

This game deserves 5 stars because it truly is good fun offline and online. Don't hesitate, buy it now!

I've been a fan of worms ever since its first release on the PSX and this is by far my favourite version yet. Many new features such as being able to draw your own landscapes to customizing your WiFi team's avatar.

The new game modes were quite a treat too with various puzzle modes, such as being able to blast your worm across a landscape to a finishing point using your stylus.

I'm still yet to collect all the medals for 100% completion but thats because I've been having too much fun battling people on the superb WiFi system and I've easily found opponents throughout the day to play.

totally addicted to worms! brings back memories. love the stratigicness mixed with the comedy and addictive fun!
can play 2 player by just passing the ds or against another DS
I love unlocking new accents for my worms (soulman,angry scot,cyber,brummie, german, etc)
you can design ur own land and flags!
The puzzles are also really good.

I have always been a Worms fan and it has never failed to entertain me. Its fun and enjoyable to play every time. Its a great game for everyone and the best thing about it is that you can never get enough of it.
