This is really good game if you want to know your brain age and train your brain further. The are a few training activities which are quite fun. You can save your brain age once a day and track your progress on a chart.
The only problem is sometimes when you take the test, the touch screen dosent understand what your answer is and it is the same with the mic. Thats the only problem but, if you have neat writting and a clear voice, there shouldnt be a problem.
I own both this and the first brain training. I bought this after becomming slightly addicted to the first one and it didn't disappoint.!!!
The best new features in my eyes were the musical test and the spare change test. Even my husband, who isn't very musical, managed to learn from the musical game. He can now play some of the songs on our real keyboard.
Again the Sudoku was a great feature. I also liked that there was the non-training 'Germ Buster' game for relaxation after training.
Overall the game is not better or worse than the first, just different.
I would reccomend either game to anyone!
This is a neat little game however can be slightly annoying at times and sometimes the game does not pick your writing up correctly so you get the answer wrong!
I have been at this now for 6 months... Any improvement on the brain? None, I have been aged 59 and above every time, (quite feeble I know!) but nonetheless the gets a good 4 stars.
This game, like other brain type games, is good if you have a lot of people playing. A good variety of fun puzzles. Could not work voice recognition but seems to be a common problem
The best thing about it is germ buster which is from the tetris mould and is the one game i play most on the ds.
