Very disappointing. Clues are very obscure and not what I consider "general knowledge". I found it hard to complete any puzzles, and I'm quite good at crosswords!

This game has taught me to read others reviews before purchasing a game. Admittedly I bought my copy elsewhere, carried away on a 2 for 1 deal, played it once and hated it, never to be touched again. In 2 puzzles I was asked "Asian Country" 3 times, each with a different answer.
It was blatently either created in another country and translated badly, or created for the worldwide market with no thought for the actual users. I found the clues ridiculously vague or just plain incomprehensible.
The joy of the DS is that you can take it anywhere to play. The problem with CrossworDS is that you'd need to take an encyclopedia, dictionary and atlas with you too.
I wish I'd come onto Play.com and read the reviews before my impulse purchase. The 2 for 1 deal wasn't so great after all.

I bought this game on a whim as I quite like crosswords. It is not the best game for the Nintendo DS, but it does what it says - it gives you lots of crosswords to complete. I think it is an ok game and helps to fill in the time when you have to wait around or on long journeys. Overall, not bad.
