 Great fun.... bit simple...

This is pretty great and plays through well, with a very clever idea. I love creating heroes etc. and it is colourful and levels look good. But, it could be a little longer and a little harder but apart from that, great game...

 Good fun

Definitely recommend this one, as long as you can be bothered to put the time in creating your own character and surroundings, which can be pretty time-consuming.

The game seems quite easy so far, with levels not being too challenging. The fact that you can make your own platforms/weapons/vehicles which then form an integral part of the level and its completion means that there is more than one dimension to the gameplay and you can get additional satisfaction from whatever level of artistic effort you feel like putting in.

This is probably one for the younger gamer, but should be good value for anyone who doesn't mind their game a bit on the cutesy side.

 a fun new idea!!

is a fun and enyoable game, that has plenty of innoventice ideas put in. like from drawing ur own character to drawing his weapons to vehicles.

so gameplay wise i think its very fun due to the game using the touch screen in a new perspective. rather than controlling the character you make him and design your own weapons. altho a very easy game to play i fink its aimed at people of all ages. howvere the downside of drawing in this is that you are restricted in a boundry so you cannot make a blob for you character and u cannot make a rocket launcher for your snow gun.

graphics is pretty amazing for a ds, has very bright and colourful animations, and the drawn characters and items work very well and runs smoothly.

so overall id say this is a very good game to get altho a bit easy and short it does indeed fill in those boring moments that you need to fill in!

A different dimension to just gaming

Drawn to Life is quite a clever concept - not only do you travel around different worlds collecting items and killing baddies like many other games, but you also get to draw characters and weapons etc along the way.

If you are the creative type, you should find this fun. If you are not, you may find it annoying and see it as just an interruption in gameplay (it's a welcome break in my opinion though).

Granted, it's not as sophisticated as the likes of Zelda (see my other reviews), but worth a punt at the price.

I just wish we had digital colouring in when I was a child - digital pens never run dry!

 loads of fun

this game is really funny. you can have a right laugh creating funny characters. its brilliant watching a character you have drawn in an actuacal game.

it reminds me a lot of super mario/ sonic type games. collecting coins and book pages in a similar format to that of sonic but with your character, weapon and even clouds and other ledges to jump on that you have drawn your self.

the only thing i would say is that the other characters talk far too much and got on my nerves a bit and i stopped reading what they said.

its still a brilliant game and i can play for hours without getting bored :)
